- Lesson 1: Drive & File HierarchyThe automation system is not a human; it cannot "search" your computer. It only looks in one specific window. If a file is not in that window, the station goes dark.1
- Lesson 2: Navigating the Web DashboardThe Dashboard is the "Remote Control" for the station. You can access it from any computer on the station's network.1
- Lesson 3: The "Inject" Process (Going Live)This is the bridge between your Plan and the Broadcast. When you "Inject," you are writing the instructions that OBS will follow for the rest of the week.1
- Lesson 4: The 14-Second "Broadcast Clock"TV stations use "Buffers." We use a 14-second buffer to ensure the station looks branded and legal.1
- Lesson 5: Emergency Alert System (EAS)As a community station, we have a responsibility to share urgent info. This lesson covers how to "Take Over" the screen for a message.1
- Lesson 6: Troubleshooting & MaintenanceEven the best systems need a "reset" sometimes. You need to know how to spot an error before the viewers do.1
